Jammu, Shiv Khori, Patnitop, Bhaderwah Tour


Day 1:- Arrival in Jammu – Transfer to Katra

Arrive at Jammu and meet your driver for the transfer to Katra (about 1.5 hours). Katra is the base for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage, though today’s focus is on Shiv Khori and Patnitop. Check into your hotel and rest after your journey. In the evening, you can explore the local market in Katra and prepare for the next day’s trip. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 2:- Katra to Shiv Khori – Visit Shiv Khori Temple

After breakfast, drive to Shiv Khori (about 2.5 hours). The Shiv Khori Cave is famous for its naturally occurring Shiva Lingam and is a revered pilgrimage site. The cave is about 200 meters long, with a narrow entrance that leads to a cavern housing the Shiva Lingam. The trek to the cave is also scenic, passing through lush green fields and hilly landscapes. After the darshan, spend some time exploring the peaceful surroundings before returning to Katra. Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 3:- Katra to Patnitop

After breakfast, drive to Patnitop (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours). Patnitop is a serene hill station in the Udhampur district, known for its lush meadows, dense forests, and breathtaking mountain views. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the tranquil environment. You can visit Nag Mandir or explore Patnitop Park for a relaxing evening stroll amidst beautiful surroundings. Overnight stay in Patnitop.

Day 4:- Patnitop Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the Naag Mandir, a temple dedicated to the serpent god, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. You can take a cable car ride to Mansar Lake, a scenic spot surrounded by dense forests, where you can also enjoy boating. In the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk through the meadows, or head to Sudh Mahadev Temple, located about 10 km from Patnitop, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Overnight stay in Patnitop.

Day 5:- Patnitop to Bhaderwah – Explore Bhaderwah

KAfter breakfast, drive to Bhaderwah (approximately 4-5 hours). Bhaderwah is a hidden gem known for its picturesque landscapes, lush green valleys, and charming villages. It is often referred to as “Chhota Kashmir” due to its breathtaking natural beauty. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and then visit Bhaderwah Fort and Seoj Dhar for panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. You can also explore Padri Pass or enjoy a short trek in the nearby areas, perfect for nature lovers. Overnight stay in Bhaderwah.

Day 6:- Bhaderwah to Jammu – Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Jammu (approximately 5 hours). Depending on your flight or train schedule, you can visit Raghunath Temple, Ranbireshwar Temple, or do some last-minute shopping in Jammu’s local markets. Finally, you will be dropped off at Jammu Railway Station or Jammu Airport for your departure.
